Refund & Cancellation Policy – RedTeam Hacker Academy

Dear Student,

Congratulations on enrolling with Red Team Hacker Academy course. We hope this program marks a strong beginning to your journey in the field of cybersecurity. 

At RedTeam Hacker Academy, every enrollment represents a shared commitment between the student and our Academy. To ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency across our global training operations, the following policy applies to all programs delivered through our classrooms and the RedTeam Xperience LMS.

1. Commitment to Your Learning

  • Each student will be assigned a unique Xperience ID for identification within the portal. Students are required to use their registered email address, mobile number, and password to log in to the LMS. The same credentials should be used for any future password changes.
  • By signing this agreement, the student confirms that the ID card has been uploaded with full consent and will be used for verification of name, age, and identity prior to admission to classes and examinations, as well as for certificate issuance.

    All students are required to enter their name exactly as it appears on the uploaded ID card on the platform. This name will be automatically reflected on the certificates issued.

  • Once enrolled, your seat in a batch (online or offline) is reserved exclusively for you, as each batch is limited in capacity.All students are required to attend classes without absence to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Immediately after enrollment, your fees are allocated to multiple essentials, including:
    • Government taxes (GST and statutory charges)
    • Study materials and learning resources
    • LMS and lab access licenses (RedTeam Hacker Academy and global partners like EC Council, INE Security, Pentest Garage, CompTIA etc)
    • Operational costs for trainers, labs, and support teams
  • Because these allocations are made immediately, all payments are considered final.
  • The actual batch start date may vary by up to five (5) days from the initially scheduled or proposed commencement date. timely update of batch start date will be communicated from student happiness team.
  • Our training team comprises a combination of industry professionals and internally trained, developed, and certified trainers. Batches are assigned to trainers based on their availability.Additionally, each student is further evaluated by industry professionals during the placement training phase.Feedback forms are issued to all students periodically, as your input is important to us.

2. Refund Consideration (Exceptional Cases)

  • While fees are generally non-refundable, we understand that genuine, unavoidable circumstances may arise.
  • In such cases, students may submit a refund request within 3 days of enrollment.
  • Each request will be carefully evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is subject to management approval.
  • Approved refunds will be processed after deducting applicable charges ( material costs, or vendor license  already distributed or availed, course watch hours).

3. Flexibility Through Batch Transfers

  • If you are unable to attend your scheduled batch, we will be happy to transfer you to another upcoming batch, subject to seat availability and approval. This batch change is subject to batch availability and reason for change. 
  • This ensures that your learning journey continues smoothly without loss of your investment.

4. Re-Sit & Revision Support

  • A one-time re-sit opportunity may be provided to help you revise your course, depending on:
    • Your attendance and participation
    • Trainer feedback
    • Seat availability in a batch
  • This is offered as an additional support benefit to strengthen your learning outcomes.

5. LMS & Access Validity

  • Your RedTeam Xperience LMS access begins from the day it is activated. Once activated, fees are considered utilized.
  • Access duration depends on the program:
    • Certified Penetration Tester (CPT) → 4 months
    • Certified IT Infrastructure & Cyber SOC Analyst (CICSA) → 6 months
    • Advanced Diploma in Cyber Defense (ADCD) → 10 months
    • Other Programs → Duration will be specified at the time of enrollment.
  • Students are required to complete their training and certification within the allotted access period. Extensions, if available, may be offered with additional charges and subject to approval.
  • The examination pattern may vary from time to time. Students are advised to regularly check official notifications for the most up-to-date information
  • Exams must be completed within 30 days of finishing the course. Delays may require students to appear under a revised syllabus or updated exam format.
  • students has to finish integrated exams before attempting ADCD or CICSA certifications within the timeline of learnings to avoid delay in  batch duration.

6. Vouchers & Third-Party Licenses

  • Many of our programs include third-party vendor vouchers/licenses (e.g., EC-Council, INE Security, CompTIA). by default all redeemed vouchers are non refundable.
  • 1. Non-Refundable Vouchers

    • All issued or redeemed vouchers are non-refundable by default.
    • Once a voucher or license is issued, it cannot be returned or exchanged, even if it has not been redeemed.

    2. Responsibility of Voucher Codes

    • Voucher or license codes will be shared via email or student portal.
    • Once shared, the responsibility for safeguarding and usage lies solely with the student.

    3. Lab Access Policy

    • Lab access is provided only for the duration agreed upon at the time of enrollment.
    • The  INE lab validity period begins from the date of activation and ends within the months agreed as it is automated process.
    • If a student requires:
      • Re-examination
      • Extension of lab access
        they must purchase additional lab access separately.

    4. Integrated Course – Voucher & Lab Charges

    • For integrated courses, all included:
      • Exam vouchers
      • Lab licenses
        are considered part of the package.
    • In case of a refund request, these components will be:
      • Charged separately based on the vendor’s current website pricing
      • Converted to equivalent INR value

    5. Refund Calculation

    • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting:
      • Cost of issued vouchers and licenses
      • Lab access fees
      • Fees for attended classes

7. Invoices & Receipts

  • Since fees are collected on installment basis- invoices and receipts are issued against the actual amount paid by the student at each stage. 
  • If fees are paid in installments, receipts will be provided for each installment separately, not for the full course value until the total payment has been completed.
  • This ensures accuracy and compliance in financial documentation.

8. In the Rare Case of Program Cancellation by RedTeam

  • If RedTeam Hacker Academy cancels a scheduled batch due to unforeseen reasons, students will be offered:
    • A transfer to another batch/program of equal value, or
    • A credit that can be applied toward a future enrollment of the same course.
  • Refunds will only be considered if no services, vouchers, or LMS access have been provided.

9. Certificate

Upon successful completion of the examinations, students will be awarded the respective certification title. The certificate is auto-generated after the examination and can be verified through certs.redteamacademy.com (applicable for exams starting from version v4).

As this is a certification-focused organization, attendance certificates or course completion certificates will not be issued. Students will only receive the certification earned upon successfully passing the examination.

10. Loans and EMI

All our courses are offered on installment basis. Therefore, we do not provide any guarantees or issue certificates to support third-party loan or financing facilities. All students are requested to make payment on time to avoid delay activate vouchers specific to that installment.

11. Course change

Students are not permitted to switch between the ADCD and CICSA programs, as the learning paths and payment structures differ for each course. Additionally, our system does not support transferring a student from ADCD to CICSA or vice versa. Therefore, students are advised to choose their course carefully at the time of enrollment.

12. Our Assurance

By enrolling, you acknowledge that:

  • Your place in the batch is guaranteed and secured.
  • Your resources (labs, study materials, licenses) are activated immediately to benefit your learning.
  • Our team is committed to supporting you with Enrollment Process, Learning and Development Support, Student success related matters etc.
